The Greater Springs Chamber of Commerce will host a downlink site for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Nationwide Satellite Town Hall Videoconference from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sept. 12 to review the results of the U.S. Chamber’s nationwide survey on public-policy issues of concern to business. Forecasts on the 1996 elections and predictions on how business issues will fare next year will also be discussed. Results from the videoconference and the survey will help set the 1997-98 National Business Agenda.
The National Business Agenda will define the public-policy priorities that will shape the nation’s business policy for the foreseeable future. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce will present the agenda to the new 105th Congress and the White House early next year.
The downlink site is at the Chamber office, 2 North Cascade Ave., Suite 110.
