UCCS offering seminar for entrepreneurs
A five-part seminar series, “Essential Financial Concepts for Entrepreneurs” will be offered beginning June 15 at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Center for Entrepreneurship. The series is a unique learning opportunity for executives and managers who are faced with the challenge of starting a business under the umbrella of an existing company. The course also is ideal for the classic entrepreneur who is considering launching a startup.
The classes are more practical and hands-on than traditional business courses and are conducted by local executives and entrepreneurs in a creative collaboration to present real-world financial challenges as well as alternative real-world solutions.
The seminar series meets from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting June 15 and running through June 29 at Dwire Hall on the UCCS campus. The course fee is $166 for students and $298 for non-UCCS students. There are no prerequisites for the course, which counts as one credit hour.
