Tax seminar on tap for Realtors
Land Title Guarantee Co. is offering a tax seminar from 9 to 11 a.m. June 23 at the Antlers Hotel. The seminar will be taught by Chris Blees of BiggsKofford.
Topics will include S-corporations and real estate cost studies.

Rawlings Library cornerstone to be laid
The Robert Hoag Rawlings Public Library’s cornerstone ceremony is scheduled 10 a.m. July 5 on the patio outside the front entrance of the Rawlings Library in Pueblo.
The program is sponsored by the Masonic Grand Lodge of Colorado and will feature setting the building cornerstone and sealing the time capsule and its contents, memorabilia from today, plus contents of previous library building cornerstones in 1902 and 1965.
Sustainability of organic foods topic of discussion
The Catamount Institute is hosting a panel discussion exploring the sustainability of organic foods from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 8 at the Warehouse Restaurant, 25 W. Cimarron St. The program is part of the Pikes Peak Sustainable Business Network seminar series.
Panelists will explore organic foods from three perspectives: the grower, the manufacturer/produce and the retailer.

Golf tournament will benefit at-risk infants
On July 9, the Fort Carson Golf Course will host the “Putting for Preemies” golf tournament benefiting the March of Dimes.
Prizes will be awarded in two flights, men and co-ed, and a continental breakfast and barbecue lunch is included.
Registration and check-in begins at 7 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 8.
The tournament is being organized in cooperation with Memorial Hospital’s maternal-fetal medicine department.
