Kathryn Wohlschlaeger has joined The Broadmoor as public relations manager. She is a graduate of St. Louis University and served an internship at the resort last summer.

Jose Aponte, executive director of the Pikes Peak Library District, received the 2004 Trejo Librarian of the Year Award from REFORMA, who promotes information services to Latinos and the Spanish-speaking community.

Patrol Officer First Class Mark Watson has received a Special Recognition Award from the International Association of Chiefs of Police for his work retrieving stolen cars and arresting felons.

Paul Angotti has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Colorado Springs Osteopathic Foundation.

James Zimmer, D.O., has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Colorado Springs Osteopathic Foundation.

Mike Henney has joined J.E. Dunn Construction Co. as a project manager. He has 21 years of experience in institutional and commercial construction.

Frank Stump has joined J.E. Dunn Construction Co. as superintendent. He has 20 years of Colorado construction experience.

Jim Fedon has joined J.E. Dunn Construction Co. as business development manager. He has 23 years of construction experience.

Trisha Rush was recognized as one of four “Special Honorees” by the National Notary Association for her exceptional work as a Notary Public. She is a civilian paralegal at the Air Force Academy.

Grace Person has joined the Pikes Peak Community Foundation as the civic engagement fellow. She is a recent graduate of Colorado College with a degree in sociology.

Emily Auerbach has joined the Pikes Peak Community Foundation as the civil engagement intern. Emily is studying European history and political science at Colorado College.

Kristena Malmgren has been promoted to supervisor at BiggsKofford. She has been with the accounting and business consulting firm since 2000.
