Pikes Peak Community College students Pete Courage, Jerome Limoge and Matt Najdzion won the gold medal in Automated Manufacturing Technology at the national Skills USA Vocational Industrial Clubs of America Championships. The competition requires students to take a concept from a rough engineering sketch to reality in eight hours.

Donna M Skudlarek has joined the design team at Beckony Kitchens and Baths. She has worked for 10 years in residential and commercial design and has experience in marketing and purchasing.

Susan Strasbaugh, EA CFP has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Alliance of Cambridge Advisors, which provides training and support for fee-only, comprehensive and holistic financial planners.

Jamie Spittler has been inducted into the NAI Retail Council. He is a broker at NAI Highland Commercial Group LLC.

Sonja Taysom has joined the Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado as communications director. She has been a writer, editor and communicator for 22 years.

Kurt Kofford has been appointed by Gov. Bill Owens to serve on the Colorado State Board of Accountancy. He is the COO and director of BiggsKofford and has worked in the accounting field for more than 20 years.

Steven Ezell of Buell & Ezell LLP has been elected to the Board of Trustees of The Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado. The foundation raises funds to ensure access to justice for low-income individuals and families in Colorado
