Participants will learn the steps to start doing business with the government and how to find contracting opportunities.

The University of Phoenix is hosting meetings about higher education opportunities available in Colorado at 10 a.m. Aug. 7 and 14.
University staff will be available at the meetings to discuss bachelor’s and master’s degree programs designed for working professionals.

Customer service association hosting personality workshop
The Colorado Springs Customer Service Association is hosting a workshop, “Living the Platinum Rule, How to Effectively Communicate with the 4 Personality Styles,” from 8 to 10 a.m. Aug. 26 at Colorado Springs Internet, 8 N. Nevada.
Information will be available about how to get along with different personalities and how to reduce conflict with difficult people.
