David Cranfield, PLS, has joined Drexel, Barrell & Co.’s Colorado Springs office as survey manager. He has more than 26 years of experience in all aspects of land surveying, both conventional and GPS.

Rick Knapp has joined Intelliden Corp. as managing director of government sales. He previously worked for Sygate Technologies Inc. as a sales executive.

B.J. Jones has been named Colorado Springs area representative for U.S. Sen. Wayne Allard. She previously worked for the Kinship Unit of the El Paso County Department of Human Services.

Venkateshwar “Venkat” K. Reddy will serve as the interim dean of the College of Business and Administration at the UCCS for the 2004-05 academic year. Reddy also is a professor of finance and has taught in the undergraduate, on-campus MBA, Distance MBA and Executive MBA programs.

John Gerdelman has agreed to join the board of Speakeasy, the nation’s largest independent broadband services provider. He is a co-founder and executive chairman of Intelliden Corp.

Mark Benes has been promoted to senior vice president in the real estate and construction banking division of American National Bank. He has been in the banking industry for 17 years and joined American National in 1990.
