Department of Revenue offers free income tax seminars
The Colorado Department of Revenue is offering training seminars for certified public accountants, enrolled agents and tax practitioners from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 18 and Dec. 13 at 222 S. 6th St., Room 208, Grand Junction.
The seminars will provide updated income tax information about Colorado tax laws, policies and processes. The information is tailored specifically to the needs of accountants and tax practitioners in Colorado.
Continuing professional education credits are available. Topics will include legislative updates, department hot topics, new e-services and 2004 104 forms.
The seminars are free and training materials will be provided. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required via e-mail.

Library offering program on ‘minding your business’
The Pikes Peak Library District is offering the opportunity for the public to learn about the business resources available at the library by attending a free tour before the library opens at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 9 at the Penrose Public Library, 20 N. Cascade Ave.

AutoCAD software seminar on tap for Oct. 12
Comm Tech of Boulder is conducting a free seminar about new features of AutoCAD 2005 software from 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Radisson Inn North, 8100 N. Academy.
The seminar also will include industry specific version of AutoCAD for those that design architecture, do mapping or civil engineering.
