Roland Sardaczuk has rejoined American Property Management Co. as the general manager of the Park Place Hotel. He has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, most recently serving as the general manager of the LeBaron Hotel.

Edward Hurt has received the inaugural Ethical Business Leader of Colorado Springs award from The North Colorado Springs Rotary Club. He is vice president of operations for ERA Shields Real Estate.

Nancy Montes has joined Peoples Mortgage Corp. She has been in the mortgage industry for 22 years, most recently as a loan officer at Chase.

Helen Jackson of Jackson Accounting has become a certified advisor for Quickbooks Point of Sale. She is one of 13 advisors in Colorado, and the only advisor in Colorado Springs.

Carol Chiarito has joined New England Financial as a financial representative. She previously worked for McLeodUSA in Canon City, Pueblo and Colorado Springs.

Kara Roberts has been named vice president for business retention and expansion for the Greater Colorado Springs Economic Development Corp. She previously was associate director of the Colorado Springs Technology Incubator.

Craig Anderson CCIM has been promoted to senior vice president at Trammell Crow Co. He has more than 22 years of experience in the commercial real estate business.

Cari Shaffer was recently a speaker at the National ICTS Staffing Conference. She is the founder and owner of Add Staff Inc.

Cathy Grossman has joined PRACO Public Relations and Advertising Co. as a senior account supervisor. She previously owned a marketing consultancy.

Curtis Fox has joined PRACO Public Relations and Advertising Co. as a public relations account supervisor. He previously was vice president of investor relations consulting for Edelman Public Relations in London, England.

Matt Carpenter has been promoted to associate vice president of the El Pomar Foundation. He manages the grants program, serves as deputy director for the Penrose Nonprofit Institute and oversees the Forum for Civic Advancement.

Jennifer Ward received American National Bank’s President’s Community Involvement Award for 2004. She has volunteered her time to Junior Achievement, Colorado Springs Parks and Recreation Depart-ment, Susan G. Komen and the March of Dimes.
