Duane Beckmann MS, CLU, ChFC, has earned membership in the Million Dollar Round Table – Court of the Table. He is the president of The Beckmann Group. MDRT is an international independent association of sales professionals in the life insurance based financial service business.

Barbara McKellar has been selected to serve as vice chairwoman of the State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education. She is principal and managing broker of Commercial Advisors LLC in Englewood. McKellar began her real estate career with Hammond Investment Corp in Colorado Springs.

Donna Gardner CVA has received the credential Certified in Volunteer Administration by the International Association for Volunteer Administration. She is responsible for all volunteer activities at Goodwill Industries of Colorado Springs.

Julie Hensley has joined Re/Max Properties Inc.’s Falcon office. She previously worked as an insurance agent with USAA.

Mark Smith has been recognized as the top-ranked national advisor for 2004 by Raymond James Financial Services. He is principal of M.J. Smith and Associates in Englewood.

Theophilus Gregory has been promoted to vice president by the El Pomar Foundation. He directs El Pomar’s community outreach programs and is a part-time executive-on-loan for the Colorado Springs Sports Corp. Gregory joined the staff in 1998.

Kyle Hybl has been promoted to vice president by the El Pomar Foundation. He serves as general counsel to the foundation and the Broadmoor Hotel and is a grants officer. Hybl joined the staff in 2000.

Kae Rader has been promoted to vice president by the El Pomar Foundation. She directs the El Pomar’s communications initiatives and is a grants officer. Rader joined the staff in 2002.

Brenda Reed has joined Rusinak Real Estate as a broker and will specialize in residential sales and relocation. She will be working at the 7150 N. Academy Blvd. office.

Kristin Lidman has been appointed the 2005 Heather Campbell Chaney fellow by the Catamount Institute. She is a senior at Colorado College. The fellowship focuses on bringing a strong environmental ethic to young people.

Shelly Brunn has been appointed interim general manager of Colorado Grande Casino. She previously served as director of finance.

Roger D. Wiegley has joined Westmoreland Coal Co. as general counsel and secretary. He previously served as outside counsel for the company while a partner at Sidley & Austin and Winthop, Stimson, Putnum & Roberts.
