Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary hosting fundraiser
The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary is hosting a Mexican dinner fundraiser from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 12 at 908 Yuma St.
The event will benefit Salvation Army programs for needy children. Tickets are available at the door.

Nonprofit offering classes in home maintenance
Homeowners can take advantage of a free home maintenance class offered by Colorado Housing Enterprises from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 15 at the Hillside Community Center.
The classes will include instruction in electrical, plumbing, drywall and texture, among other topics.

CSU Extension presenting “Master Food” classes
Colorado State University is providing Master Food Preserver training in food safety, canning, freezing, jams and jellies, pickles and dehydration classes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 17 at the CSU Extension Office, 305 S. Union Blvd.
