Roman Hidrogo has joined the Pikes Peak Workforce Center as a business consultant. He will be responsible for providing services to businesses in the high tech, integrated technology, aerospace and education fields. He most recently was director of educational technology and multimedia production at Pike’s Peak Community College.

Michelle Price has joined Stockman Kast Ryan and Co. as an audit consultant. She has degrees in business administration and accounting from Western State College of Colorado.

Kristena Malmgren CPA has joined Stockman Kast Ryan and Co. as a senior tax consultant. She has more than five years of experience in tax return preparation and graduated from Arizona University with a degree in accounting.

John Ferguson, Randy Kilgore and Scott Mason of Strategic Financial Partners have qualified for Penn Mutual’s Royal Blue Leaders Conference. The designation recognizes high standards of professional achievement.

Jerome “Jerre” M. Hause has joined First Community Bank as regional president of the South Denver area. He previously was vice president of North American Title Co.

Brian E. Bohannon has joined Fidelity Real Estate Group Inc. as a marketing associate. He has experience in property management, teaching and bartending.

Michael Cecere has opened Innovative Financial Management Inc. He has 19 years of financial management experience.

Mike Kressin has been named managing broker for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Colorado Springs office. He was managing broker of Frontier GMAC from 1993 until 2001, when Coldwell Banker acquired the company.

Kelly Hunt has started KSH Direct. The company provides database marketing and customer relationship management solutions.

Jim Cassidy has joined Experience Colorado Springs at Pikes Peak as chief financial officer. He previously served as financial manager at Kings Deer Golf Club.

Andrew Russell has been honored by The Institute for Supply Management as one of its 2004 Persons of the year. He is procurement manager for Compassion International.

Thomas Walker has rejoined Rusinak Real Estate. He will be working in the property management division out of the 7150 N. Academy Blvd. office.

Miles Gerald Valerian Wellesley has been chosen for a summer internship at Coughlin Associates. He is a student at the University of the South.

Kurt W. Ehlert has been appointed power systems director of Wagner Equipment Co., the Caterpillar dealer for Colorado, New Mexico and far West Texas. He previously was vice president of parts and vice president of sales for Rust Tractor Co.

Thomas P. Jenkins has been promoted to field survey manager in the Boulder office of Drexel, Barrell & Co. He has more than 30 years of experience in boundary, topographic, route and construction surveying.

Ann Marie Trahan has been named business manager of the Colorado Springs Business Journal. She held similar positions with companies in Washington, D.C., before moving to Colorado Springs three years ago.

Sharon Berthrong has received the University Medal from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She is chairwoman of the Karen Possehl Women’s Endowment program, is a member of a UCCS fundraising advisory board and an advisory board for the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, and served on the CU Foundation Board of Directors.

David Glynn has joined Holland & Hart’s export control practice as “of counsel” in the Denver office. He is former manager, U.S. export compliance and U.S. export regulation coordinator at IBM.

Brian Scheffe has joined Front Range Precast Concrete as a technical representative. He is a graduate of Baylor University’s master’s program in environmental studies.

Ashlyn Searle has joined bludot Marketing Inc. as a marketing intern. She is a rising junior at Rampart High School.
