Brian Schirm has joined Peoples National Bank’s north Academy Boulevard branch as a commercial loan officer. He has six years of experience in banking and mortgage services.

Jacob Cukjati has joined Cukjati as production and traffic manager. He has a bachelor’s degree in environmental conservation and economics from the University of Colorado and several years of experience as bottling and delivery coordinator for Indian Peaks Springwater.

Konstance Smith has joined Cukjati as a designer. She was a graphic design intern at Bona Media in London, England, and has a bachelor’s degree in fine and performing arts: graphic art from Mesa State College.

Axel Bink has joined Colorado Architecture Partnership as an intern architect. He has international experience and speaks six languages. Bink will be working on green architecture projects including sustainable housing and mixed use urban infill villages.

Brad Lenhard has been named vice president of lending at American Bank of Commerce. He has 30 years of banking experience, including and extensive commercial, commercial real estate and construction loan portfolio.

Myron Newall has received a diploma of gemology from the California Institute of Jewelry. He is studying at the institute for his advanced jewelry arts diploma.

Esther Geoffrey will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual Peak Area Performance and Artists Awards on Sept. 19. She has a master’s degree in dance from the University of Colorado and taught at Colorado College for 36 years.

Jennifer Plunkett has been named vice president of operations for the property management division at Frederick Ross Co. She has 22 years of experience and previously was the senior property manager for the Colorado region at CMD Realty Investors.

Kathryn Vinson has joined Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Co. as a commercial escrow officer. She has been in the title insurance industry for 30 years and has experience in closing office, industrial, retail, land development, multi-family and government properties, including churches and schools.

Peter M. Meersman has been elected chairman of the Colorado Tourism Office board of directors. He is the president and CEO of the Colorado Restaurant Association.

Christine King has been named director of marketing at J.E. Dunn Construction. She has more than 20 years of experience, most recently working for a mechanical/electrical engineering firm.

Thomas Saunders has joined J.E. Dunn Construction as an estimator. He has more than 24 years of experience, the last nine of which focused on estimating and leading contract reviews for multi-million dollar projects.

Scott Warner has joined J.E. Dunn Construction as an estimator. He has more than 11 years of experience and is a licensed professional engineer. He has worked on hard bid and negotiated projects, specializing in general contracting and concrete for medical, schools, industrial and municipal projects.

Kristen Blessman has been appointed associate director for media relations at Regis University. She joined the university in 2003, working in new business development for the School of Professional Studies, and was previously director of marketing and public relations for Krisp Productions.
