Public relations professionals will put their crisis communication training to the test during a simulated event from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Tesla Educational Opportunity Center, 2560 International Circle, Room 110-111.
Attendees will be assigned to a group focused on a particular aspect of a simulated crisis and put to the task of fact gathering, message development and presentation during a closing simulated press conference with local media questioning attendees. The event is being hosted by the Pikes Peak Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, the Southern Colorado Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators and the Colorado School Public Relations Association.

The Department of Revenue is offering a free training seminar about wage withholding tax from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 18 at 1881 Pierce St., Room 110, Lakewood.
