Waldo S. Pendleton has become co-owner of Berwick Electric Co. He has worked for the company since 1986 and is senior estimator of the contract department.

Misty Bunten has been promoted to senior associate at Biggs Kofford. She has a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting, and will focus on auditing and client management.

Neil Rood has joined Bucher, Willis & Ratliff Corp. as vice president of airport engineering. He has 33 years of experience in airport planning, engineering and consulting.

Byron J. Glenn P.E. has joined Drexel, Barrell & Co. as regional manager for the Colorado Springs office. He has more than 20 years of civil engineering experience, and is a registered professional engineer in Colorado, California and Nevada.

Robert Dixon has been named regional director of SCI Real Estate Investments’ Denver field office. He has more than 19 years of experience in the purchase, sale and management of real estate investments.

Paul F. Goad Jr. has been appointed vice president of eastern U.S. operations at Norwest Corp. He joined the company in January 2004 and has more than 35 years of mining experience.

Jim Love has been named account manager of Verizon Wireless in Colorado Springs and southern Colorado. He has been with the company for more than 13 years, most recently working with small business and local government clients.

Linda Archibald has been named business sales representative for federal accounts in Colorado Springs and southern Colorado. She has been with the company for 15 years in customer service and sales positions.

Robert von Dassanowsky has received the Decoration of Honor in Silver from the Republic of Austria for his work in Austrian literacy and cultural studies, his scholarly work in Austrian literary and film studies and for his role in founding organizations, such as the Austrian Film Association. He is an associate professor of languages and cultures at UCCS.
