Brian Nelson has joined Strategic Financial Partners as a financial representative. His practice focuses on financial stability for individuals and businesses in the areas of protection, wealth accumulation, retirement, and estate and business planning.

Nohemy Miralles has joined the Pueblo office of New England Financial as a financial representative. She has worked in the insurance and financial services field for two years, most recently as a partner in a Chihuahua, Mexico, law firm.

Bill Knapp P.E. has been promoted to manager of CH2M Hill’s southwest transportation group. He has worked for the firm since 1984, and had been manager of the Colorado Springs office since 1999.

Dirk Draper has been named vice president and area office manager of CH2M Hill’s Colrado Springs office. He has 13 years of experience in environmental planning and project management, and has worked locally for the company since 2002.

Douglas Barber has been named 2005 Instructor of the Year by the Colorado Association of Realtors. He has 30 years of experience in real estate, and is president and broker of The Rawhide Co.

Taves Maciel has been named general manager of the Comfort Suites and Sleep Inn. He has almost 10 years of experience in the hotel industry.

Jason Cassidy has been named assistant general manager of the Comfort Suites and Sleep Inn. He has more than three years of experience in the hotel industry.

Roxanne Claflin has been appointed senior vice president and global leadership specialist at Lee Hecht Harrison. She has more than 15 years of experience, most recently as vice president of services at Captara Corp.
