2006 CSPA media guide available

The 2006 Colorado Springs Press Association Media Guide is available for purchase.

The guide contains El Paso/Teller County area listings of newspapers, radio and television stations, as well as reporter and other outlet contacts.

The cost is $25 for press association and Public Relations Society of America members and $35 for non-members.

The guide can be ordered by contacting Kim Mutchler at 475-2797 or KMutchlerPR@aol.com. The guide will be e-mailed after payment is received.

Goodwill receives highest accreditation

Goodwill Industries of Colorado Springs’ rehabilitation programs have been accredited for a three-year period by CARF, the international accrediting commission for rehabilitation facilities.

This is the 11th consecutive three-year accreditation that Goodwill has received. The organization has been providing programs and services since 1956.

Women’s Resource Agency receives grant

The Women’s Resource Agency is receiving a $5,000 grant from The Women’s Foundation of Colorado to support the agency’s “Transition to Self-Sufficiency” project.

The money will be used to expand the program by offering additional resume assistance, computer classes and a job club, where clients are able to meet with other women and update them on their employment prospects.

The agency has been providing services in Colorado Springs for the past 32 years.
