A native to Colorado Springs, Beth Sparks is a partner at Keene & Sparks LLP, where she specializes in the areas of wills and trusts, probate and corporate law. She also is a certified public accountant.
Sparks graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder, summa cum laude, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, having received the Chancellor’s Graduation Award, Salutatorian; a Boettcher Foundation academic scholarship and the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society award.
She was a member of the speech and debate team, on the executive council of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority and was involved with the taxpayer assistance program.
Sparks earned a juris doctorate from Harvard Law School, where she was executive editor of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy.
She also participated in the Big Brother/Big Sister Organization.
As a part of her community service, Sparks is a board member of the Goodwill Foundation, the Fine Arts Center Board and Penrose-St. Francis Health Foundation Board.
Sparks also is a member of the El Paso County Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association and Inns of Court.
