In her various roles with Agilent Technologies, Kelly Parthen has spearheaded many award-winning product launches around the world. The largest international product launch resulted in more than 100 articles in 13 countries.
Parthen also is the author of the nationally syndicated column Cinematters, which uses newly released family films to provide parents with creative and simple ideas that spark family bonding. The column appears in more than 30 parenting publications nationwide and reaches more than 3 million readers.
After graduating from college, Parthen landed her dream job as sports anchor/reporter in her hometown of Green Bay, Wis. However, she soon realized that the climb up the broadcasting ladder would not fit the family lifestyle she wanted, and went back to school to earn a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin in journalism and mass communications.
As public affairs manager for Agilent Technologies, Parthen spends her time in community outreach. She is a board member of the Pikes Peak Chapter Public Relations Society of America and is a member of the media and public relations “Spring into Action” task force, a Greater Colorado Springs Economic Development Corp. initiative.
Parthen also participates on the planning committees for Make a Difference Day, Celebrate Technology, Women’s Foundation of Colorado luncheon and the Partners in Philanthropy luncheon.
