Lamar Johnson actively seeks to promote U.S. Bank within the company and throughout the community. He leads by example through organizing teams to participate in community events.
As a branch manger, Johnson provides on-site leadership for customer service, provides leadership, motivation and direction for branch staff, expands customer base and branch profitability, and integrates products and services with customers’ needs.
He is a member of U.S. Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act Committee and the Colorado Springs Employee Committee. Because of his strict adherence to operational policy, Johnson was named the region’s Top Performer in RQA audits.
In 2005, Johnson was named Pinnacle Branch Manager for the first and third quarters. Pinnacle is a program designed to recognize and reward top performing personnel. The Quarterly Pinnacle event recognizes the Top 20 percent of community banking branch managers.
Johnson has helped serve the needs of more than 1,000 seniors in the community by leading the effort for the United Way campaign at his branch in the collection of items for Home Instead for Seniors during the Christmas season. His branch also organized a team that took part in the Boys & Girls Club’s PeakCo Challenge.
He is a graduate of the University of Southern Colorado, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business management.
