The City of Colorado Springs is seeking applicants to fill two vacancies on the City Investment Advisory Committee.
The Committee advises City Council and city staff about investment policies and procedures. Applicants should have a background in investment and finance.
Members serve three-year terms and meet twice annually. The committee is not responsible for advice for investment of the Utilities Fund or Memorial Hospital.

The Daniels College of Business’ undergraduate program at Denver University has been recognized as one of the top 50 in the United States by Business Week.
Daniels ranked 49th, and was the only undergraduate program in Colorado included on the list.
To create the top 50 list, Business Week identified programs that met stringent quality criteria, then surveyed nearly 100,000 business majors and 2,000 recruiters, as well as asking qualified schools for a third self-study.
Daniels is the eighth oldest collegiate school of business in the United States.
The Colorado Springs Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is seeking volunteers to serve on its TOPS Working Committee.
The committee meets bimonthly and determines spending priorities for the Trails, Open Space and Parks sales tax, which is the one-tenth percent sales tax approved by voters in 1997.
Applicants should have involvement with an organization dedicated to promoting trails, parks or open space, live within the city limits and demonstrate an interest associated with parks, trails or open space.
