The Small Business Administration’s National Ombudsman’s Office is holding a regional Regulatory Fairness Board Hearing from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 26 at the SBA’s Colorado District Office, 721 19th St, Suite 426, in Denver.
The hearing offers small business owners an opportunity to comment about regulatory enforcement action in a forum that ensures the government is listening. Participants will be allowed to give testimony about unfair or excessive federal regulatory enforcement actions such as repetitive audits, investigations, punitive fines, penalties, threats or retaliation.

The Colorado Department of Revenue is offering a free training seminar about state sales tax issues from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Sept. 7 at 4420 Austin Bluffs Parkway.
The class will include information about sales tax licenses, trade names, how to collect sales tax, distinguishing sales and use tax, and available electronic services.
