Volunteers, service seminar

The sixth annual Colorado conference on Volunteerism and Service-Learning will be Feb. 21-23 at the Antlers Hilton. The theme is “reaching new heights through commitment to ethics, professionalism and leadership.”

More than 80 workshops will be offered. Topics include volunteer management, corporate volunteerism, diversity, emergency preparedness, national service, trends and research, and youth leadership.

SBA, NAWBO hosting event

Denver’s premier conference for women business owners, In Good Company, is scheduled for Feb. 22 at the Adam’s Mark Hotel.

The Denver District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Denver Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners are hosting the event.

The full-day conference will feature a luncheon keynote address by Maria de Lourdes Sobrino, founder and CEO of Lulu’s Dessert Corp.
