Falcon Broadband has signed an exclusive deal to provide TV and Internet services to the 24,000-acre Banning Lewis Ranch development.
Banning Lewis management has selected Falcon Broadband to provide entertainment and communications services to Northtree and future neighborhoods at Banning Lewis Ranch.
Falcon Broadband will deliver using a fiber optic network.
“This is an important milestone for us,” said Hadi Makarechian, chairman and chief executive officer of Banning Lewis Ranch Management Company.
Homebuyers at Northtree will pay a monthly fee of $42.50 to the Metro District for services that will include a minimum of 55 television channels and high-speed internet access. Homeowners can purchase additional services as they choose, including phone service, digital and HD programming (more than 30 channels), DVR, and more.
“We are making Banning Lewis Ranch’s entertainment and communications infrastructure future-proof,” said Randy DeYoung, President of Falcon Broadband.
The agreement covers the first 2,700 homes to be built in the new master planned community.
