This weekend, crews will close the intersection at Mark Dabling and Rockrimmon Boulevards for 17 days to complete the reconstruction of the intersection and the frontage road connection.
In addition, motorists should be aware of traffic shifts, lane closures and shoulder work this week when driving through Colorado Springs Metro Interstate Expansion construction zones.

Crews will close the Mark Dabling/Rockrimmon intersection to traffic for 17 days starting Sunday night at midnight to complete utility work, drainage, retaining wall construction, paving, and curb and gutter work.
One lane traffic on Colorado Avenue through Oct. 31
Colorado Avenue has been reduced to one lane both east and westbound. No overnight closures on Colorado Avenue are planned for this week.
The Interstate 25 southbound bridge over Colorado Avenue is scheduled to open Oct. 31.
I-25 north and southbound traffic shifts 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., as needed
Crews will be doing overlay, roto-milling work (paving), striping and signage installation on I-25 both north and southbound. Motorists traveling on I-25 between Cimarron and Bijou, and also between Garden of the Gods and Woodmen should be aware of these operations.
