A Fort Collins company has launched a networking Web site for environmentally conscious businesses and philanthropic givers.
The GenGreen Network lists state- and city-specific contact information for businesses that operate under a green philosophy.
The site will include a calendar of events, green job postings, a blog and a needs-and-offerings section.
The GenGreen Network was started last month with Colorado information. A rollout to include all 50 states starts this week.
Site administrator say so far 450 organizations have become members.
“Environmentally conscious people can go to the website and find the green organizations they want to associate with, the green businesses they want to support, and the eco-products and services they are looking for, all in their own community,” said GenGreen founder, Charisse McAuliffe.
