Parkview recognized for cutting ‘near-miss events’ 
The Colorado Patient Safety Coalition honored Parkview Medical Center for its patient safety record during the 2007 Patient Safety Conference.
Parkview was chosen for the award based on the hospital-wide reduction in medication errors using wireless, hand-held devices that allow nurses to capture and document vital sign information.
