Health care organizations have positive things to say about the 208 Commission’s report to the General Assembly.

The commission was charged with recommended changes to the state’s health care system and has worked for a year to come up with 30 reform recommendations.

“Colorado’s health foundations – Caring for Colorado Foundation, Rose Community Foundation, The Colorado Health Foundation and the Colorado Trust – individually and collectively commend the work of the Colorado Blue Ribbon Commission for Health Care reform,” read a joint statement by the four groups.

The four organizations said the commission developed a road map for health care reform that has support from numerous and diverse groups throughout the state, that “offers the promise of ensuring that all Coloradoans will have affordable coverage in a more streamlined, accountable system of care.”
