Donna Williams loves to cook and says she has a knack for being able to taste food at a restaurant and later recreate it at home.
Williams also has a knack for management. She supervises 14 employees at the Security Service Federal Credit Union Briargate location. She manages one of the business service centers in the Colorado market doing 20,000 or more transactions and more than 1,000 member visits a month.
She is a member of the Pikes Peak United Way Fund Allocation Committee, a substantial contributor to the Pikes Peak Humane Society, a volunteer instructor for Junior Achievement and the lead in chartering a new Toastmasters Chapter group for Northern Colorado Springs.
She won the 2006 Security Service Federal Credit Union Volunteer of the Year Award and numerous awards while serving in the United States Army including Saudi Arabian Medal, Liberation of Kuwait, five Army Commendation medals, five Army Achievement medals and three army overseas ribbons and numerous Gold Conduct medals. She is also a member of the Colorado Springs Chamber Rising Professionals organization.
She is married to Sgt. 1st Class Tavarise J. Williams. They have one daughter, Jasmine.
