A new steering committee established by Gov. Bill Ritter’s Office of Boards and Commissions is seeking applicants to study health care cost containment and how to improve care quality.
Applications to help with the Center for Improving Value in Health Care Steering Committee are due March 16.
The panel will advise the state on strategies to improve the health care system, leverage commitments from the public and private sectors and integrate the work of other public and private entities in the state,” Ritter’s representatives said in a statement.
Ideal applicants are “highly influential in the business and health care communities, passionate about improving quality and value in health care and possess a strategic perspective.”
