Ken Emory has been named Volunteer of the Year for Colorado by the Bureau of Land Management. He also is a member of the BLM’s Southwest Resource Advisory Council and a member of the Colorado Recreation Resource Advisory Committee.

Bernard Benyak has been promoted to senior tax manager at Stockman Kast Ryan and Co.

Mark Snead has been named assistant vice president and branch executive of the Denver Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He previously was a research economist at Oklahoma State University.

William Lewis has been named director of the Department of Regulatory Agencies’ Office of Consumer Counsel. He previously was vice president and general counsel for Nuss PSG and CAP Logistics.

Richard Bengtsson has been named acting director of the El Paso County Department of Human Services. He has more than 25 years of experience, including 16 with the county, and has been deputy director since August 2007.
