Red Noland Auto Group plans to begin selling selling off-brand used cars by early next week.
The dealership has sold both new and used Cadillacs, Saabs, Infinities and Jaguars, but will now sell other types of used cars at an expanded a portion of their existing compound that was renovated in 2008.
The used cars will be vehicles that have been traded by Red Noland customers.
Red Noland opened the dealership in 1974, and vice president Mike Jorgensen says that he still has faith in the manufacturers and the city.
“After all,” he said, “we started our business in the middle of a gas crisis, high unemployment and interest rates that were hovering around 20 percent.”
Jorgensen said the company is in the process of moving the cars to the new site and that it should be in full operation on Monday.
