Peak Vista creates new services, staff positions

Peak Vista plans to use $1.3 million received from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to create new mobile health services.The grant will provide money for two years, and covers both the staff and operations of mobile health services, which will bring care to children in their neighborhoods.

Peak Vista was the only community health center in Colorado to received money from the stimulus package.

Peak Vista also used an additional $776,173 to create 10 new fulltime positions, including provider and registration staff for two years. The additional staff members will result in 5,203 additional patient visits.
