I vote for watering the parks instead, as such is a vital function of city government. Don’t mean to sound mean, but it’s not this city’s obligation to ensure Denny can go get an ice cream at Josh & Johns with her granddaughter. I think a kid that old can walk that far for heavens sake. Maybe grandma can’t — that I could understand better. Geez.

I am painfully disappointed that the DASH will not be running. I live near Colorado College. My 3 yr. old granddaughter & I took the shuttle OFTEN, to the park, to Starbucks, to shops & errands in general. We walked part of the way & rode part of the way — as both ways was too long a walk for a 2 – 3 yr. old. We appreciated the service very much.

Gosh the “Bum Bus” is gone. Considering CS is supposed to be one of the fittest cities in the U.S. a few blocks of walking should be stimulating. What a waste of $$$
