Having worked with LandCo and partners, shady backroom deals are the norm for that company. Also to add to the comments about the city council, I would not forget the obvious connections to the mayor that companies has. Next elections, we ought to wash our hand of not only the part but the whole as to leave part would only let the status quo fester rather than lead to real change.

When this is all settled (and I think it will be very soon), both the City and USOC need to RUN -- not walk -- away from LandCo and any of its projects as fast as possible. The USOC debacle is just the tip of the iceberg.

As for the city council's secrecy and total failure to fess up to the public on all the backroom deals surrounding this farce, I will remember everything when the next council elections roll around. Their collective evasiveness will not soon be forgotten.

....... even though we still don't/won't know squat about how whatever deal the parties end up making came about, I hope it actually ends up w/the USOC downtown & the NGO's in Confluence, er, ATB Park. That'll be a GOOD thing for our little'ole mountain town ........
