One World 2 You, an Indian export warehouse, is closing Aug. 2, after two years in business.
The company, owned by Jacquelyn Lundquist, is closing because the building owner decided not to renew her lease on the space at 101 S. Sahwatch a new national tenant was found who would sign a longer term lease.
“They wanted a two or three year lease,” Lundquist said. “And we were not prepared to do that – sales are down because of the economy, so we decided to close, take a break, and maybe re-open when sales could be better.”
Broker Gary Hollenbeck would not say who the national company is that signed a seven-year lease for the space.
Lundquist plans to hold a going-out-of-business sale starting Wednesday, July 22. She said items will be marked down 65 percent and up to 90 percent between July 22 and the closing.
