El Paso County’s Citizen’s College will reconvene Sept. 12 and 19.
The classes are offered to residents who want to learn about County government and its services. The Citizens’ College will be conducted in two all-day sessions on consecutive Saturdays and will be hosted at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center and Terry R. Harris Judicial Complex.
The class is limited to 40 students.
Those wishing to enroll in Citizens’ College must be high-school seniors or older and in good physical condition, because some foot travel will be required during field trips.
The class syllabus includes County Government 101, Criminal Justice and Investigation, Public Safety and Health, Transportation and Fleet Services, Land Use and Development and Tax Collections and Allocations.
