Well, it appears that IBM may have solved that problem.
They’ve filed a patent for a system that would allow TV watchers to access social media sites without having to leave the comfort of their couches.
Information Week magazine is reporting that the patent describes a platform for automatic blogging of media viewing using an enhanced remote controller, suitable for use while viewing media programming and content.
Analysts suspect the patent application could represent IBM’s attempt to play a bigger role in the social media revolution.
The patent documents gave no indication of when IBM plans to produce the technology.
