While I do not think that Paige is representative of District 3 – and that was a huge misstep by Council – I do think that Mr. Paige will benefit from seeing government from the inside rather than just pontificating about its evils as a bystander. When he sees the work being done to try and balance all parts of our city, perhaps it will broaden his point of view…. Maybe then, he will finally realize that a city cannot be run on fumes……or hot air…….

Sean was originally not the Council’s first choice as they were deadlocked. Hente said in the Indy that Sean has been throwing rocks at them for years and now it was his turn to see how it is. This is a heck of a way to teach a lesson too. Council is using Paige’s connections with the Gazette owners and his influence thru his personal blog to even out the score. I believe they are hoping that once he sees how difficult it is, he will begin to restrain from the criticism. I give the man 6 months of council meetings and listening to citizens complaints before wanting to resign.

Did City Council, acting as the Utilities Board, do the right thing in stopping $256,000 in CSU's annual grants spread among 86 area nonprofits?
This poll is not a scientific sampling, but offers a quick view of what readers are thinking.
