In the face of increasing swine flu infections, Penrose-St. Francis Health Services is tightening its visitor policy for the second time.
Starting tomorrow, Oct. 16, no children younger than 17 will be allowed to visit patients at any Penrose-St. Francis facility. The restrictions include siblings.
In addition, no ill visitors are allowed. Adult visitors will be limited to four per room, and visitors might be asked to wear a mask while visiting, to visit another time or to adhere to other special precautions. Pregnant women and people with weak immune systems are also asked not to visit.
Penrose officials says the new policy is in line with other Colorado hospitals.
