Central Bancorp approved for local banking branch
After months of regulatory red tape, Central Bancorp has received approval to open locally as Central Bank & Trust at 1 S. Nevada Ave.
After the company acquired Farmers & Stockmens Bank in Clayton, N.M., and obtained a Colorado banking charter, federal regulatory agencies gave final approval.
Central Bank & Trust is scheduled to open downtown sometime next month.
