Silesia, Poland-Colorado Trade Mission in Springs Oct. 21-23

Business executives are invited to attend a breakfast and networking session with delegates from the Silesia, Poland-Colorado Trade Mission, from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 21, at Penrose House, 1661 Mesa Ave.

The event is hosted by the local Office of International Affairs, W.E. Loopesko & Associates, the Colorado European Union Center and the World Trade Center of Denver.

Delegation members from Poland include real estate developers, Information Technology companies, a law firm, a global accounting firm, a municipal lighting manufacturer, an animal and human supplement developer and manufacturer, the mayor of Katowice, the capital of Silesia, the head of trade and investment from the Polish Embassy in Washington D.C., and representatives from several universities in Silesia.

Poland has the largest working population in central Europe, one of the youngest populations on the continent, and 97 percent of business students speak English.

Poland is also the eighth largest market on the continent and the 30th largest market in the world.
