El Paso County property transaction records show the transfer of the Police Operations Center and Fire Station 8 from the City of Colorado Springs to the City of Colorado Springs Public Facilities Authority.
No price is listed for either sale. The market value of the POC is $15.3 million and the fire station is $1.71 million, according to the El Paso County assessor.
The transfer was accomplished through quitclaim deeds dated Oct. 13.
John Leavitt at the city public communications office confirmed that the transactions had taken place and said that the city would issue a news release later today about these and other transactions connected with the U.S. Olympic Committee headquarters deal.
He also said that Assistant City Manager Mike Anderson might be available to answer questions early this afternoon.
