Broadmoor to host 2010 new governor convention

The Broadmoor has been selected to host the 2010 National Governors Association’s biennial seminar for new governors.

The bipartisan seminar is designed to assist newly elected governors in their transition from campaigning to governing.

During 2010, 39 states will hold gubernatorial elections, and at least 22 governors will be forced out by term limits.

The seminar will offer workshops and business sessions taught by veteran governors about a host of issues – managing the executive budget, shaping a vision for the administration, strategic scheduling and communications and emergency preparedness.
