Storefront set up to sell downtown gift and parking cards

To help lure shoppers downtown for the holiday season, the Downtown Business Improvement District will open a temporary shop to sell gift cards that can be used at more than 100 downtown retailers.

Shoppers also can purchase easy-park cards, a pre-paid credit card that can be used on downtown parking meters.

Starting Dec. 4, The shop, at 101 N. Tejon St., the former location of Great Harvest Bread Company, will be open every Friday and Saturday, until Christmas.

The gift cards are available in denominations ranging from $10 to $500.

For more information, and for a list of participating stores, visit www.downtown80903.com or call 886-0088.

  1. What a great idea!
Even if I don’t buy any for gifts, I’ll certainly buy some for myself!

  2. To clarify,

the gift cards and easy park cards will be on sale at 101 N. Tejon in the former Great Harvest Bread store on Friday’s and Saturday’s from 11 to 4p starting December 4. The cards will not be on sale Sundays at that location.
