The online wedding-planning service Mywedding.com is moving its corporate headquarters to Castle Rock.

The move will mean 20 new jobs.

Mywedding.com was founded in 2002 and has been based on Bainbridge Island, Wash., just outside of Seattle.

“We are very excited to continue in the growth of our business with this new Castle Rock office,” CEO Woody Pastorius said in a statement. “We have many advantages to housing our new headquarters here, from access to a highly skilled workforce to the quality of life that a community like Castle Rock provides. Our success has always come because we are locally focused; and mywedding.com is excited to continue that success here in Colorado.”

The new head office will be at 4700 Castleton Parkway.

Mywedding.com offers wedding Web sites, local guides, and online tools assisting in such matters as RSVP management, registries and guest e-mailing.

Originally focused on Seattle, the service has since branched out to dozens of other markets. It reports that its Web pages garner 30 million page views a month and serve 200,000 new couples a year.

“The support for this project was exceptional,” Frank Gray, Castle Rock EDC’s president and CEO, said in the announcement. “From its inception, there was an unwavering commitment from the Town of Castle Rock, the Douglas County commissioners and Edge Commercial Properties to guide this project to fruition.”
