Lindsay Fischer has received the John H. Drabing Award from the Colorado Springs Osteopathic Foundation. He has been a member of the foundation since 1996, and was president during 2003-04 and 2007-08.

Brandon Smith has earned the Certified Residential Specialists designation from the Council of Residential Specialists. He is a broker associate with The Platinum Group, Realtors.

Kathay Rennels has been named director of economic development at Colorado State University. She is a three-term Larimer County commissioner and a longtime public work force development leader.

Jaasi Munanka has joined the executive committee of the African American Voter Registration and Information Project. He is an attorney in the Denver office of Hogan & Hartson and his practice focuses on commercial litigation, international law and white collar defense.

Marsha Looper has been named state director for Women in Government. She is a state representative from Calhan.

Bettina Swigger has been elected to the Americans for the Arts Emerging Leaders Council. She is executive director of the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region.

Daniel R. Giovanini has been promoted to senior vice president of lending for Bank of Colorado. Giovanini has more than 28 years of financial management and lending experience.

Craig Schumann has joined WeatherSure as a project manager. He has more than 20 years experience in roofing structural repair and waterproofing.

Heather Harper has joined WeatherSure as senior sales associate. She brings more than 15 years experience in construction estimating and project management to the job.

Nick Kotecki has joined WeatherSure as roofing superintendent. He will be responsible for roof replacement operations throughout the region.

David J. Stephens has returned to Correctional Healthcare Management as regional mental health director. He rejoins the company after working for the Colorado Department of Corrections the past year and a half as chief of behavioral health services.

Patrick Butler, human resource and operations director for TESSA, has recently earned certification as senior professional in human resources. The certification signifies that Butler possesses the knowledge and practical experience necessary to pass examination demonstrating mastery in the field.
