A California home drug-infusion company recently bought Chartwell Rocky Mountain, a Denver-based subsidiary of the nationally owned Chartwell LLP.
The acquisition will improve Amerita’s service response in the Denver market, company officials said.
“This purchase … will increase our contact base to include several new payer relationships,” said Jim Glynn, Amerita’s CEO. “With two sites in Colorado, we will increase coverage to include the entire state.”
Chartwell Rocky Mountain was a joint venture between Chartwell Home Therapies, based in Massachusetts and the University of Colorado Hospital.
The company expects to retain all existing management and sales staff.
Amerita Inc. www.ameritaiv.com is a privately held specialty infusion company focused on providing complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside the hospital.
