The Princeton Review has named the U.S. Air Force Academy one of the nation’s top 100 best value colleges for 2010.
Selection criteria included more than 30 components in three areas: academics, financial aid and costs of attendance, based on 2008-2009 academic year data.
The student-faculty ratio at the academy is 9:1, and the curriculum is “grueling and heavy on science and engineering,” the Princeton Review reported. “But if you can make it through this four-year gauntlet, though … you will almost certainly leave here with a knack for leadership and a skill set that will impress your friends.”
The only other college in Colorado to make the list was the University of Colorado at Boulder.
