Tierra Vista Communities spokeswoman Meryl Large said the new complex will house a gathering place for family activities and includes a coffee shop, a temporary youth center, an indoor pool, an outdoor splash park and an outdoor playground. The facility will also include centralized offices for both the Tierra Vista property management team and the Air Force Capital Asset Management Team.

While commercial leasing may be off as much as 20 percent from the market’s height during 2007, local companies continue to relocate, expand and shed extra space. Here are the latest updates from area commercial brokers:
Accelerated Recovery Specialists has leased 3,860 square feet of office space in the Center City Plaza building at 455 E. Pikes Peak Ave. Drs. Michael Sparr and Eric Ridings will move into the new offices during first quarter 2010. That’s according to broker Ted Link of Cascade Commercial Real Estate who facilitated the transaction for the tenant and for the landlord, Bethesda Management.
The Christian Arts Center has leased 8,000 square feet at 3815 N. Academy Blvd. Charlie Madson of Keller Williams Partners represented the tenant; Steve Leigh and Tim Leigh of Hoff & Leigh represented the landlord, Peel Investments.
Alley Cat Theatrics has leased 2,400 square feet of office space at 1826 E. Platte Ave. from landlord Springs Center LLC. Holly Trinidad of Hoff & Leigh represented the tenant; Trinidad and Steve Leigh represented the landlord in the transaction.
